i don't know if anyone is keeping up by this point...

i guess i would say that this post is mostly for myself... reflection of reintegration

i thank God for my family and friends and all the other blessings that are helping me remember how to live in america with patience

although there are constant reminders of how much need there still is in the world i am more capable and more prepared to help those in need...

i was approached by a man living out of his truck the other day and was able to buy him a tank of gas and a cold drink and pray with him...by the glory of God i am who i am and this trip is more than an educational experience for me and more than a sustainable project... its a realization of a lifestyle that the one true God has called me to live no matter where my body is on the earth.

i will fight to make sure this project survives past the summer of 2009 so that more students may experience what i have and become what i am on my way to becoming...

four weeks isnt a terribly long time but long enough to learn several life lessons and to establish a sense of what needs to come from this point...

i plead that you pray for the lives of those in the volunteerghana2009 team and that opportunities flow from our lives and experiences to further praise Jesus Christ

thanks for keeping up and for the wisdom you all have imparted to me

hello readers of america!

last few days in accra... we arrived yesterday after a sorrowful good bye with our new ghanaian friends along with our oregonian friend ben

arrived at the baptist guest house and today annie and i went to church with some of the people from the guest house...it was pretty awesome... if i'm completely honest though i would have to say that i enjoyed church in winneba way better... also... i miss crossroads a lot

one more full day and then we fly out... not really much more to update on except tomorrow we have a few meetings...

we're meeting with a few education ministers and also a man named emmanuel who is the leader for free the slaves has arranged a meeting with other NGO leaders... a pretty exciting series of opportunities... wish us luck and thanks for all the prayers!

if you think about it we could use some final prayers for peace peace peace and for perserverence we're on the homestretch and i think a few of the group members are feeling a lot of anxiety and tension among the group...
